  • * INCREDIBLY COLD ARCTIC AIR WITH RECORD SHATTERING LOW TEMPERATURES FORECAST WILL COMBINE WITH THE BRUTAL NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS BRINGING IT IN TO CREATE DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILL READINGS TONIGHT.
  • * TIMING... TONIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY THURSDAY.
  • * WIND CHILL VALUES... BY SUNSET... BELOW ZERO. BY MIDNIGHT... 6 TO 18 BELOW ZERO. BY SUNRISE THURSDAY MORNING... 13 TO 24 BELOW ZERO.
  • * IMPACTS... FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA POSSIBLE WITH EXPOSURE IN AS LITTLE AS 30 MINUTES. BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW COVER POSSIBLE TOO DUE TO THE WINDS.
  • PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
  • A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE WIND CHILLS OF 10 BELOW ZERO TO 25 BELOW ZERO. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROSTBITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS... MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.
