- . WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 9 AM CST WEDNESDAY...
- THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 9 AM CST WEDNESDAY.
- * TIMING: THE SNOW WILL MOVE WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA AND PRODUCE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF NEW SNOWFALL FOR THE ENTIRE QUAD STATE REGION TONIGHT. THE SNOW WILL BEGIN IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AS EARLY AS LATE THIS AFTERNOON... THEN SWEEP EASTWARD ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION TONIGHT.
- * MAIN IMPACT: NEW SNOWFALL ON TOP OF ALREADY HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL IMPACT MAINLY ROADS... PRODUCING A FRESH COATING ON TOP OF ALREADY CLEARED MAIN THOROUGHFARES AND ADDITIONAL SNOW ON TOP OF SECONDARY AND BACK ROADS.
- * OTHER IMPACTS: SIDEWALKS AND DRIVEWAYS THAT HAVE BEEN CLEARED WILL RECEIVE ANOTHER LIGHT COATING OF SNOW TONIGHT. GUSTY WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH BEHIND THIS PASSING SYSTEM... WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW TOMORROW.
