Angelyn Jackson, daughter of the late William Barker and Rachel McClard Barker, was born on July 13, 1940, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on February 7, 2023, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 82.

Mrs. Jackson was a former manager at Burger King in Athens, Alabama and she was a current resident of Athens, Alabama. She enjoyed knitting and reading.

She is survived by her son, Kenny Jackson and wife Amy of Westmorland, Tennessee; by her daughter Kathryn Carmack and husband David of Athens, Alabama; by her sister, Wanda Chamberlain of Illinois; by four grandchildren, Kris Hunsperger, Shawna Nolen, Jennifer Chatman, and William Jackson; by nine great-grandchildren, Kelsi Wood, Jordan Wood, Samantha Uhles, Parker Uhles, Bill Chatman, Tyler Jackson, Daisy Jackson, Delilah Jackson, and Sebastian Jackson; and by four great-great grandchildren, Grayson McLane, Blakely Wood, Kenlee Rosales, and Lio Rosales.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Barker; and by three sisters, Virginia Fithian, Marjorie Edwards, and Pearl Swinger.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.
