Luedeana Eaton, daughter of the late Raymond Bain and Bertha Sadler Bain, was born on April 10, 1928, in Aid, Missouri, and departed this life on February 3, 2023, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 94 years.

Mrs. Eaton was a former nurses aide in Illinois, and she was a former cashier for Hickory Log in Dexter, Missouri, for 13 years. She attended the First Church of God in Dexter, Missouri and was a resident of Dexter. Her faith and family were incredibly important to her, and she enjoyed reading and writing poetry.

On May 18, 1945, in Bloomfield, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Thurman Eaton. Mr. Eaton preceded her in death on September 29, 1982.

She is survived by her son, William Dale Eaton of Dexter, Missouri; by two daughters, Donna Kay Thacker and husband Darryl of Malden, Missouri, and Robyn Shaffer and husband Mark of Dexter, Missouri; and by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and by seven great-great grandchildren.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Eaton; by her daughter, Sheryl Harms; by her sister, Alberta Stoker; and by her great-granddaughter, Sheryl Diane Hilton.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
