Poplar Bluff, Missouri – A group of Bloomfield students traveled to Three Rivers College and performed with their Community Band.
John McMichael was one of only three high school students in the band, while Allison Statler, Gabe Waters, and Riley Burns were the only junior high students in the college band. Audry Thompson is the band director at Bloomfield.
These students practice many hours and challenge themselves to excel in music. High school bands typically have more difficult music than middle school bands. College bands are even more challenging and require greater skill.
Well done Bloomfield students!!

They also had a daily drawing for a $25 Wal-Mart gift card. Ten gift cards were given out and you had to be present to win.
Who says MAP testing can't be exciting! Congratulations!
