
Sharon Daniels went home to be with the Lord at the age of 79. Sharon Kaye Boyle Daniels was born in Bernie, Missouri on March 5, 1945 to Gordon “Mutt” & Geneva Hunsperger Boyle. Sharon passed peacefully in her Parma home of 59 years with her two devoted daughters by her side in the early morning hours of November 12, 2024.
On Nov 25, 1961 Sharon married the love of her life Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Daniels. They were married for 62 years until Tommy’s passing in 2023. The two share a love story that started at the young ages of 14 & 16, stating it was love at first sight. Sharon and Tommy owned and operated Daniels’ Service Station in Parma for over 30 years working together while focusing on raising their two daughters, Kim and Tracie, in a loving Christian home. Sharon and Tommy were members of The First Baptist Church of Parma, where he served as deacon and they each were Sunday school teachers. Together they attended church faithfully with their small family.
Sharon never met a stranger and enjoyed keeping in touch with her lifelong childhood friends on a regular basis, often getting together for a visit or talking on the phone. Sharon is fondly remembered by many as being loving, kind, and fun. Sharon always took pride in her tidy home that welcomed many over the years and was often a gathering place for her daughters’ friends and neighborhood children. Sharon had a knack for making each one feel special and loved.
Sharon will be greatly missed by her two daughters: Kimberly Kaye Daniels Hampton and husband Allen of Parma, Missouri and Tracie Anne Daniels Rinehart and husband Gary of New Madrid, Missouri. Four grandchildren: Thomas Dale Eakens of Parma and Benjamin Gordon Eakens (Amber) of New Madrid, Missouri. Nancy Hampton of Nashville, Tennessee and James Hampton (Hunter) of Dexter, Missouri. Eleven great grandchildren: Bently, Jasper, Abby, Brenleigh, Lexi, Jordan, Katie, Alex, Tres, John, Gracen and one great great grandson Ridge.
Her sister, Barbara Ann “Cookie” Boyle Kean, her friends, community, church and special friends, Lora Otto and Angela Davis.
Sharon was welcomed into Heaven and reunited with her parents, her husband, Tommy, her beautiful granddaughter Megan Lanee Rinehart and her brothers Carmen Gayle Boyle & Jackie Wayne Boyle.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 PM in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Marty Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Norma Lee James, daughter of the late Dewey Christian and Mary Wells Meeks Christian, was born on September 18, 1944, in Stoddard County and departed this life on November 10, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
Norma was a lifelong resident of Dexter. She worked as a checker at Shipman's Market for many years. She loved cooking and visiting with her many friends. No one ever left her home hungry and always left with something she had picked up that she wanted them to have. She treasured her family time, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
On December 1, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Tom James - her best friend for over 60 years. Tom survives at their home in Dexter.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her two children; Tami Etherton and husband Mark of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Thomas K. James and wife Kimberly of O'Fallon, Missouri; by two brothers, Charles Meeks of Godfrey, Illinois and Donnie Meeks of Alton, Illinois; by four grandchildren, Kyle Etherton (Jessica), Jake Etherton, Aidan James (Kelly) and Callie James; and by her great-grandson, Jackson Etherton.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Willie Meeks, Gene Christian, Jess Christian, Willard Christian and Dean Christian; and by four sisters, Peggy Sielert, Eloise Nicholson, Lula Mae Cutler and Lottie Faye Christian.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Dexter Cemetery.

Larry Glen Dick, son of the late Joe M. Dick and Velma Hawkins Dick, was born on February 26, 1939, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on November 9, 2024, at Winchester Nursing in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.
Mr. Dick was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a former farmer and of the Baptist faith. Larry was a long-time resident of East Prairie, Missouri, his picture is in the East Prairie Library and is called mountain man. He enjoyed gardening and being outside.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Courter and husband Scott of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister, Marla Stearnes of East Prairie, Missouri; and by four grandchildren, Stephenie Courter, Savanna Money, Delanie Courter, and Sydney Courter.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Dick; and by his sisters, Sheila LePlant and Wanda Pentland.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Joseph Lynn Hagy, son of the late Ernest Joseph Hagy and Bonnie Davis, was born February 2, 1971, in Olney, Illinois, and departed this life on November 10, 2024, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 53 years.
Joseph was a former maintenance man for Tyson Foods in Dexter and a truck driver. He loved driving his 18-wheeler and enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.
On December 24, 1995, in Bloomfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Christina Chamberlain. Mrs. Hagy survives of their home in Dexter.
Along with his wife, he is survived by four sons, Jason Fields and wife Jessica, of Bernie, Missouri, Dusty Fields of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Tyler Hagy of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Steven Hagy of Cedar Hills, Missouri; by one daughter, Gabriella Fields of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Cletus Maclin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Bond Davis of Alton, Illinois; by two sisters, Barbara Fluharty of Dexter, Missouri, and Ashley Everett of Jackson, Missouri; and by six grandchildren, Jarod Fields, Connor Hagy, Wyatt Hagy, Ryleigh Fields, Jaxston Fields, Azorra Hagy.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Hagy and by one grandchild, Myleigh Fields.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dudley Community Center in Dudley, Missouri.

Judith Ann Kennemore Buck was born July 2, 1946, to Charles and Mildred Kennemore in Mississippi County, Arkansas. She departed this life on November 8, 2024, at 6:30 a.m.
Raised in Osceola, Arkansas, she graduated from high school in 1964. She attended Arkansas State University where she obtained her bachelor's in education. She moved to Southeast Missouri and was united in marriage on March 31, 1968, to James (Jim) Buck of Bloomfield, who survives of the home.
She was an educator for many years and retired from the Sikeston Public School System. While at Sikeston she was sponsor of FBLA and Director of Adult Basic Education Programs. She obtained a master's degree and specialist degree from Southeast Missouri State University. After retiring from Sikeston, she was hired as Director of the Southeast Missouri State University Higher Education Center in Sikeston. She was recognized for her hard work and dedication to the center for 14 years, growing it from an incubation stage, starting with 20 course sections in 1998 to 170 sections in 2012. She received the Outstanding Missourian Award by the Missouri House of Representatives for her work in education. She loved helping students reach their goals and encouraged those who didn't think it was possible. She was active in the Elks, P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), Sikeston Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. She was the first female president of the Sikeston Chapter 1993 - 1994. Upon retirement she and Jim moved to Murray, Kentucky where they loved to spend time on the lake and traveling.
Together they had two children from their union, Keith (Shelly) Buck and Kim (Barry) Crumley. She had four grandchildren, Jacob Crumley, Victoria (Brady) Rogalla, Keiton Buck, and Jase Crumley. She was also proud to have three great grandchildren, Ben Jamerson, Chloe Jamerson, and Waylon Rogalla. She is also survived by her brother Jimbo Kennemore of Osceola, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mildred Kennemore of Osceola and her brother Charles Richard "Dickie" Kennemore also of Osceola.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Missouri.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel in Murray, Kentucky.
