
Joseph Lynn Hagy, son of the late Ernest Joseph Hagy and Bonnie Davis, was born February 2, 1971, in Olney, Illinois, and departed this life on November 10, 2024, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 53 years.
Joseph was a former maintenance man for Tyson Foods in Dexter and a truck driver. He loved driving his 18-wheeler and enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.
On December 24, 1995, in Bloomfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Christina Chamberlain. Mrs. Hagy survives of their home in Dexter.
Along with his wife, he is survived by four sons, Jason Fields and wife Jessica, of Bernie, Missouri, Dusty Fields of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Tyler Hagy of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Steven Hagy of Cedar Hills, Missouri; by one daughter, Gabriella Fields of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Cletus Maclin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Bond Davis of Alton, Illinois; by two sisters, Barbara Fluharty of Dexter, Missouri, and Ashley Everett of Jackson, Missouri; and by six grandchildren, Jarod Fields, Connor Hagy, Wyatt Hagy, Ryleigh Fields, Jaxston Fields, Azorra Hagy.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Hagy and by one grandchild, Myleigh Fields.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dudley Community Center in Dudley, Missouri.
