In Memory of Larry Glen Dick

Larry Glen Dick, son of the late Joe M. Dick and Velma Hawkins Dick, was born on February 26, 1939, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on November 9, 2024, at Winchester Nursing in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.


Mr. Dick was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a former farmer and of the Baptist faith. Larry was a long-time resident of East Prairie, Missouri, his picture is in the East Prairie Library and is called mountain man. He enjoyed gardening and being outside.


He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Courter and husband Scott of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister, Marla Stearnes of East Prairie, Missouri; and by four grandchildren, Stephenie Courter, Savanna Money, Delanie Courter, and Sydney Courter.


Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Dick; and by his sisters, Sheila LePlant and Wanda Pentland.


A memorial service will be planned at a later date.


Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
