The Dexter High School honored their graduating athletes at the annual Fall Senior Night during the pre-game of the Bearcats vs Scott City Rams football game on Friday, October 25, 2024. Each graduating athlete will be recognized in a separate article.
Rylee Dawson is the daughter of Terry and Catrina Dawson.
She is a three year member of the varsity football cheer team as well as being a member of FCCLA, Sr. Beta Club, Student Council, and Pep Club.
After graduation, Rylee plans to attend Paul Mitchell Cosmetology and become a cosmetologist.
Her favorite member is when her teammate forgot her spandex that are worn UNDER your cheer skirt for a away game at Park Hills last season...and made everyone wear their pants to cheer!

Averee Ackman is the daughter of Jonathan and Amanda Guite and Trey and Leslie Ackman.
She is a four year member of the varsity football cheer team. She is also a member of the National Beta Club, FCCLA, HOSA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honors Society, and To 10%.
After graduation she plans to attend Arkansas State University and study nursing. Then, she plans to continue her education to receive either a Masters in nursing or attend medical school and become a dermatologist.
Her favorite cheer memory has been this entire season. It has been so exciting to cheer for an undefeated football team her senior year.

Ben Dowdy is the son of Josh and Alana Dowdy.
He is a four year member of the Cross Country Team.
Ben is active in Student Council and he serves as the student body president, Pep Club, and National Honor Society.
After graduation he plans to attend the University of Mississippi and major in Civil Engineering.
His most memorable cross country moment was running with my best friends every single day for the past four years and learning the value of hard work.
