Ron Gaines of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri was born in Dexter Missouri on July 22, 1943 to Mary and Denton Gaines.  He died on March 12, 2024 at SSM Health in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.  He was 80 years old.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Gaines of O'Fallon, Missouri, Robin McCormick of Wentzville, Missouri and grandchildren, Harper Gaines and Christopher Gaines of O'Fallon, Missouri and Ava McCormick of Wentzville, Missouri and a sister Renee Gaines of Dexter, Missouri.

Ron worked at McDonald Douglas Boeing from 1963 to 1998.

He was a trustee at the villas where he lived in Dardenne Prairie.

His hobbies included golf, woodworking, and having the guys over for a good card game.  He was a Bearcat...playing basketball at Dexter High School.

The greatest joy of Ron's life was spending time with his kids, Kevin and Robin and his grandkids, Harper, Christopher, and Ava.  he enjoyed going to their activities and supporting them in they lives.

A celebration of life will be held on June 27, 2024.
