Larry Michael Yeakey, son of the late William David Yeakey and Holly Fern Teer Yeakey, was born on September 15, 1939, and departed this life on May 9, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.

Mr. Yeakey was a retired farmer and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri. He was of the Christian faith, and he loved traveling and fishing with his grandson Andrew.

On October 5, 1958, in Bloomfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Ardith Bernard. Mrs. Yeakey survives of their home in Bloomfield.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael A. Yeakey of Aid, Missouri, and Douglas M. Yeakey of Baltimore, Maryland; by two sisters, Patty Christian of Dexter, Missouri, and Karen Miller of Jackson, Tennessee; and by his grandson, Andrew W. Yeakey (Katlyn) of Advance, Missouri.

Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Yeakey and Charles Yeakey.

Graveside services for all family and friends will be conducted at Dexter Cemetery on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
