Alvin Newberry, son of the late Henry Benton Newberry and Lola May Newberry, was born on June 10, 1945, in Ava, Missouri, and departed this life on May 8, 2023, at this residence in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 77 years.

Mr. Newberry was a former welder for John Deere in Moline, Illinois and Turnbull in Gulfport, Mississippi.

On October 18, 1994, in Gulfport, Mississippi, he was united in marriage to Carol Whitaker. Mrs. Newberry preceded him in death on March 27, 2021.

He is survived by his son, Tim Newberry of Moline, Illinois; by two daughters, Nita Newberry and Nikki Newberry both of Moline, Illinois; by his step-son, Randy Baker of Bloomfield, Missouri; by his step-daughter, Karen Baker of Bloomfield, Missouri; by his sister, Wanda Fowler of Hamilton, Alabama; by three grandchildren, Henley Blue Newberry, Nija Newberry, and Seaghan Newberry; and by one great-grandchild, Patrin Newberry.

Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Alan Newberry and Marty Newberry; by his brother, Vern Newberry; by three sisters, Kris Newberry, Barb Newberry, and Janet Williams; by his grandson, Hawk Benton Newberry; and by his great-granddaughter, Luna Newberry.
