Mark Anthony Curran, son of Barbara and David Curran of Chesterfield, Missouri was born on February 19, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life on May 26, 2022, at the age of 53.
Mark is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ambre Curran of 29 years; children Zach and wife Amanda Curran, Madalyn and husband Alan Lockhart, and Jacob Curran; mother and father Barbara and David Curran; sibling David Curran and wife Michelle Curran; niece Maggie Curran and nephew Andrew and his wife Kailee Curran; sister-in-law Rhonda Curran; brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Lauren Starks and nephews Maurice, Colton, and Camden Starks; as well as his father and mother-in-law David and Cathy Mathis and several loving lifelong friends and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his sister Michele Curran, brother Steven Curran and nephew Xaiden Starks.
Mark Curran studied at Southeast Missouri University for his Bachelors degree and at East Central University to receive his masters. He worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 20 years and he loved helping others.
Mark loved to cheer on the Blues and Cardinals. He was very active in his Fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and enjoyed spending time with his brothers. He had a big heart for animals and loved to spend time outside with his dogs. His most favorite of all was spending time with his wife and kids. He will be forever remembered to many as the strongest person they knew and how he always lived his life to the fullest every single day.
Family Visitation will be held at the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. The family is honoring Mark's wishes and is having a celebration of life at the River Ridge Winery in Scott City for family and friends on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
