Sherry Ann Curtis Jines passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri, on Friday, May 27, 2022, at the age of 71 years.

She was born in Gideon, Missouri, on December 27, 1950. Sherry was married to Gary Jines in April of 1979 in Risco, Missouri. She was the Executive Director of the Stoddard County ARC in Dexter, working for them for 29 years until her passing. She was a member of the Dexter Elks Lodge #2439.

Sherry was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruby and Leslie Curtis; by her brother, Albert Lee Curtis; by her sister, Carolyn Spring; by her husband, Gary Jines; and by her son, Michael Jines.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Morley (Barbara Hill) of Lake City, Arkansas; by four brothers, Larry Curtis (Sharon) of Decatur, Michigan, Garry Curtis, Jay Curtis, and Myles Curtis, all of Malden, Missouri; by her granddaughter, Kacie Hill; by two grandsons, Jeremy Hill, and Chase Taylor; by her best friend, Paula Tilmon; and by many nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
