In Memory of Lucille McIntyre

Lucille McIntyre, daughter of the late U. L. Sims and Catherine Motsinger Williams, was born on August 21, 1942, in Corning, Arkansas, and departed this life on April 29, 2022, at Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 79 years.

Mrs. McIntyre was a former employee of the hat factory in Oran, Missouri and the shoe factory in Sikeston, Missouri. She attended the Dudley Church of God in Dudley, Missouri and she was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.She is survived by her son, Charles Ralph Hamilton of Malden, Missouri; by two brothers, Melvin Sims of Belton, Missouri, and James Sims of Princeton, Kentucky; by six sisters, Edna Kitchen of Sikeston, Missouri, Lilly Rodriquez of San Bernadino, California, Anita Fyffe, Janet South, and Alma Smith all of Dexter, Missouri, and Connie Odom of Moss Point, Mississippi.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Sims; and by two sisters, Donna Sims, and Mary Savage.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Josh Hester officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Bell City, Missouri.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
