
Sylvia Sue Razer, daughter of the late Alfred Barnett and Norma Payne Barnett, was born on October 25, 1952, and departed this life on May 1, 2022, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 69 years.
Ms. Razer was a former cashier for Wal-Mart in Dexter, Missouri, retiring after 26 years of service. She then went to work for the Dexter Public School System as a bus and teacher’s aide. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.
She is survived by her daughter, Mindy Kimble and husband Richard of Malden, Missouri; by three brothers, Lester Barnett and wife Gena of Dexter, Missouri, Ricky Barnett and wife Linda of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Henry Barnett and wife Marie of Narragansett, Rhode Island; by two sisters, Connie Pruett of Dexter, Missouri and Debbie Warbritton and husband David of Dexter, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Kyra Kimble, and Wyatt Kimble, who meant the world to her; and by a host of nieces and nephews..
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John Barnett, Tommy Barnett, and Larry Barnett; and by two sisters, Hazel Asher and Mary Barnett.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker and Rev. Leroy Young officiating.
Interment will follow in the Taylor Cemetery.
