Richard Thomas Dixon, son of the Virgie Wopperer Dixon and the late Barney Dixon, was born on August 26, 1969 in Wayne, Michigan and departed this life on June 27, 2020 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 50 years.

Mr. Dixon was the owner of Dixon Construction and a resident of Essex, Missouri.  He was a member of the Spirit and Truth Worship Center in Bloomfield, Missouri where he played drums for the congregation.

He was united in marriage to Melanie Salmon, on November 2, 1996 in Moberly, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Dixon of Essex, Missouri; and by his mother, Virgie Dixon of Phoenix, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his father, and by two brothers, Carlton Dixon and Norman Dixon.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, Missouri.
