In Memory of Jennie Pulliam

Jennie Pulliam, daughter of the late Bonard Newell and Mary Kathryn Graue Newell, was born on May 4, 1950 in Truman, Arkansas and departed this life on October 28, 2019 at Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 69 years.

Mrs. Pulliam was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter, a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

On June 20, 1966, in Essex, Missouri, she was united in marriage to George Pulliam.  Mr. Pulliam survives of their home in Dexter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Shonda Tyra and husband Derek of Essex; by three sons, Thomas Pulliam of Bell City, James Pulliam and wife Crystal of Sikeston and George Pulliam and wife Jamie of High Ridge; by two sisters, Tresa Freeland and Sandra Hendrix, both of Dexter; by two brothers, David Newell of Perryville and Randy Newell of Dexter; and by nine grandchildren.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Glenda Kearbey, Norma Hargrove and Donna Pemberton; and by her brother, Terry Newell.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Danny Collins officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
