In Memory of Ronald C. Yersak

Ronald C. Yersak son of the late Charles G. Yersak and Josephine Shoemaker Yersak was born on July 23, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and departed this life on August 31, 2019 at the SoutheastHealth of Stoddard County Emergency Room at the age of 83.

He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Malden.  He attended the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Dexter.  He was the owner of Ronald C. Yersak Enterprises, specializing in Economic Development, private consulting and planner in charge.

Ron was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War.  He was a strong supporter of the Democrat Party and was active in Local, State and National Democrat Associations.

He was united in marriage to Bonnie Evans Dierks on July 18, 1987 in Dexter.  Mrs. Yersak survives of their home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Lt. Col. Keith Yersak and wife Shannon of Warrensburg, Missouri; by two daughters, Rhonda Pautler and husband John of Concord, Massachusetts and Amy Yersak of Jefferson City, Missouri; by one step-son, Tyler Dierks of Belleville, Illinois; by one step-daughter, Kehli Rouse and husband Charles of Matthews, North Carolina and by six grandchildren, Hannah Pautler, Luke Pautler, Hope Yersak, John Yersak, Mary Charles Rouse and Lucie Rouse.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, September 6, 2019 from NOON until 2:00 P.M.  Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Williams and Darryl Orr officiating.

The family requests all memorials be made to the Dexter Animal Shelter, c/o Dexter Police Department, 305 Cooper Street, Dexter, Missouri 63841 OR American Diabetes Association, 10820 Sunset Office Drive, Suite 220, St. Louis, Missouri 63127.  Envelopes for both charities will be available at the funeral home.
