Stoddard County, Missouri - The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky has issued a Special Weather Statement until 5:5 p.m.

A BAND OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI SHOULD REACH SOUTHEAST MISSOURI, ALONG A LINE FROM PERRYVILLE TO VAN BUREN BY 400 PM. THE ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST, SOUTHEAST 45 TO 50 MPH.
THIS BAND OF STORMS MAY PRODUCE STRONG, DAMAGING WINDS. IT WILL CONTINUE SOUTHEAST, REACHING A LINE FROM AROUND CARBONDALE ILLINOIS TO NEW MADRID MISSOURI BY 530 PM. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND A SMALL PORTION OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.
