Ricky Edwin Hector, son of the late Samuel Hector and Delcie Rosabell Gipson Waltrip was born on April 19, 1950 at Parma, Missouri and departed this life on August 31, 2018 at his residence at Wappapello, Missouri at the age of 68 years.

He was a Veteran of the United State Army and was a truck driver.

Survivors include: two sons, Richard Hector of Memphis, Tennessee and Justin Hector; one daughter, Dottie Sue Womack of Clarksville, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Dena Miller of Memphis, Tennessee; by two brothers, Samuel Hector (Sherry) of Dexter, Missouri and Randy Hector (Neva) of Malden, Missouri; one sister, Yvonne Morris (Mike) of Dexter, Missouri; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. 

Graveside service will be conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
