In Memory of Robert Burge

In Memory of Robert Burge
Robert Burge, son of the late Robert Joseph Burge and Earlene Burge was born on May 10, 1943 in Ranger, Texas and departed this life on January 19, 2018 at his residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Burge served from August 31, 1961 until July 31, 1981 as Senior Chief of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War and retired from Purolator Manufacturing in Dexter, and Chrysler Automotive.   Robert achieved a masters in engineering and was a resident of Bloomfield.

On June 5, 1994 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Alsup in Chaffee, Missouri.  Mrs. Burge survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides his wife, survives include two sons, David Burge (Rebecca) and Michael Burge; by one step-son, Richard Alsup (Kelley); by one son-in-law, Mike Jirele; one brother, Joseph Lee Burge; by two half-sisters, Jessica Stultz and Verta Starr; also by five grandchildren Zach, Ben, Josh, Alex, and Sarah.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ann Jirele and by one half-brother, Stanley Honey.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military rites.

In Memory of Terry Wayne Hunsaker
Terry Wayne Hunsaker of Dexter, son of Larry Gene & Billie June Edwards Hunsaker, was born in Elkhorn, Michigan on August 5, 1966, and passed away at his home in Dexter on January 18, 2018, at the age of 51 years, 5 months and 13 days.

Terry had lived most of his life in Dexter. He owned and operated Hunsakers Towing & Recoverty and enjoyed fishing and Nascar racing.

Surviving are two daughters, Amanda Hunsaker of Bloomfield, Kristin Hunsaker of Dexter; his parents, Larry Gene & Billie June Hunsaker of Dexter; one grandchild; five brothers, Jeff Hunsaker of Tyronza, Arkansas, Rick Hunsaker of Essex, Mark Hunsaker of Perryville, Bob Hunsaker of Flint, Michigan, Dan Hunsaker of West Plains; three sisters, Charlotte Hunsaker of DuBois, Pennsylvania, Brenda Alcoser of Live Oak, Texas, and Lorie Hunsaker of Poplar Bluff. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Ash.

Friends may call on Monday, January 22, 2018, after 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter until time for the services at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.

Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Harold Gene Belcher, Jr.
Harold Gene Belcher Jr., son of the late Harold Belcher Sr. and Mildred McCormick Belcher was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on August 31, 1947.  He departed this life at his residence in Dexter, Missouri surrounded by his loved ones on January 21, 2018 at the age of 70 years.

Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter. 

He proudly served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War.  He enjoyed playing guitar and keyboard, singing and writing music.  He was an avid movie and music collector.  Harold’s great strength and trust in the Lord helped him overcome many obstacles in his life.  

Survivors include two brothers, Bruce Belcher(Donna Roberts Belcher) of Dexter and Phillip Belcher(Pamela Snider Belcher) of Malden; by one sister, Debora Belcher Harris(Ed Harris) of Middle Brook, Missouri and by several nieces and nephews and numerous relatives.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Sue Parks Belcher.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 10:30 A. M. with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Rock Point Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

In Memory of Linda Faye Milam
Linda Faye Milam, daughter of Audrey Faye Hensley and the late Dason Floyd Hensley was born July 6, 1958 in Harrison, Arkansas and gained her Angel Wings January 19, 2018 at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri surrounded by family.

Linda was a proud wife, mother, Grannie and friend to so many.  She was a Registered Nurse and loved her work as Nurse at Dexter High School where her two grandbabies attended.

She is survived by her mother Audrey Hensley of Harrison, Arkansas; by her loving husband, Gary V. Milam of Bloomfield, Missouri; by one son, Brad V. Milam and daughter-in-law Emily Milam; by grandson, Dason James Milam; by granddaughter, Olivia Grace Milam, all of Dexter; She leaves behind brothers David(Sue) Hensley and Jeff Hensley of Harrison, Arkansas, and Steve(Coeta) Hensley of Valley Springs, Arkansas;  sisters, Brenda(Larry)Wheeler of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Sheron(Kyle) Sisco of Western Grove, Arkansas and Alisa Morris of Harrison, Arkansas; by brothers-in-law Mike(Melissa) Milam of New Madrid, Missouri and Tom(Sandy) Milam of Portageville, Missouri; and by sister-in-law Patricia(Tom) Drummond of Fenton, Missouri.  She would also want mentioned her beloved puppy, Sparky.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Dason Floyd Hensley, her father-in-law, James David (JD) Milam and her mother-in-law, Nellie Milam.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter Monday, January 22, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Tom McCanless officiating.  Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery.

In Memory of Lois J. Wilson
Lois J. Wilson of Dexter, daughter of the late Elmer T. and Henrietta Owens Hammonds, was born on Febuary 12, 1932, in Bernie, Missouri and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on January 18, 2018, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 6 days.

She had lived in St. Charles, Illinois until she retired and moved to Dexter. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dexter.

Surviving are one son, Alfred Wilson of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Dedee Webb of Dexter, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Wilson and two brothers, Billy & Rupert Hammonds.

Visitations may be made on Tuesday, January 23, 2017, after 12:00 p.m. until time for services at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Rev. Mike Kohlbaker of Dexter will officiate.

Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
