In Memory of Harold Gene Belcher, Jr.

Harold Gene Belcher Jr., son of the late Harold Belcher Sr. and Mildred McCormick Belcher was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on August 31, 1947. He departed this life at his residence in Dexter, Missouri surrounded by his loved ones on January 21, 2018 at the age of 70 years.
Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter.
He proudly served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War. He enjoyed playing guitar and keyboard, singing and writing music. He was an avid movie and music collector. Harold’s great strength and trust in the Lord helped him overcome many obstacles in his life.
Survivors include two brothers, Bruce Belcher(Donna Roberts Belcher) of Dexter and Phillip Belcher(Pamela Snider Belcher) of Malden; by one sister, Debora Belcher Harris(Ed Harris) of Middle Brook, Missouri and by several nieces and nephews and numerous relatives.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Sue Parks Belcher.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 10:30 A. M. with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rock Point Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
