Clayton Aaron Wilson, son of Chesley Wilson and Katie Jones Wilson of Dexter was born on May 12, 1975 at Cape Girardeau and departed this life near Sikeston on October 24, 2015 at the age of 40.
Clayton was a member of the Millersville Christ Gospel Church, a Blow Mold Technician at Cott Beverage’s in Sikeston and a resident of Sikeston.
He was united in marriage to Amanda Hampton on July 11, 2014 at Bloomfield. Mrs. Wilson survives of the home.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Torri Schmidt (Jeremy) of Dexter and Sierra Wilson of Fredericktown: by one grand-son, Jeremy Schmidt Jr. and a grandchild on the way: by one step-son, Heath McCain 2nd of Sikeston: by two step-daughters, Hannah Henderson and Hallie McCain both of Sikeston: by two sisters, Jo Anna Strickler and Patti Leathers both of Dexter: by his biological mother, Tammy Moore of Advance: by three half-brothers, Jeremy Johnson of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Raymond Johnson of Essex and Richard Johnson of Advance: by one half-sister, Jennifer Crader of Advance: by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Jones of Dexter.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel Dexter with Rev. David Wilson, Rev. Jeff Clark and Rev. Larry Matthews officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
