Richard W. Alexander, son of the late Douglas Alexander and Betty Creed Benjamin Alexander, was born on April 15, 1948, in Malden, Missouri and departed this life on October 20, 2015 at SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67.

Mr. Alexander was retired from the United States Navy.  He worked at Faurecia as a line worker and was a resident of Dexter.

On December 27, 1996, he was united in marriage to Lois Williams.  Mrs. Alexander survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Niedbalski of Jackson, Missouri; by one step-daughter, Angie Williams of Dexter, Missouri and by one brother, David Alexander of Malden, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. 

Funeral services will follow in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
