Dexter, Missouri - The ninth candidate of the evening was Miss Sarah Nichole Smith.

Sarah is the daughter of Kevin and Melissa Smith. 

She is a freshman and is active in Drama, Speech, and Debate Club.  She is also a member of the Cross Country and Track Teams and the Band. 

In the future Sarah plans to attend Missouri State University and major in writing or graphic design. 

Sarah was nominated by the cross country team.

Escorting Miss Smith is Coby Powers.  Coby is the son of Chuck and Felicia Powers. He is a freshman and is a member of Student Council, Honors Choir, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, SEMO Showstoppers, A-Cappella, and the Refuge Youth Group.  He is also a member of the football and track teams.
