Carolyn Seabaugh Eldridge, daughter of the late Elmer B. Cook and Geneva V. Bess Cook, was born on March 6, 1950 in Marble Hill, Missouri and departed this life on August 9, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 64 years.

Mrs. Eldridge attended First Baptist Church of Dexter.  She was a former bus driver for the Dexter School District, a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

On January 25, 1991, she was united in marriage to Brad Eldridge in Chaffee, Missouri.  Mr. Eldridge preceded her in death on February 28, 2010.

She is survived by one son, Chris Seabaugh of Dexter; by two sisters, Frances Rossi and Kathy Lynn Cook of Dexter; by her mother-in-law, Mildred Eldridge of Chaffee; and by her sister-in-law, Robin Graham of Patton, Missouri. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Claude Cook, Danny Cook and Lyman Cook; and by two sisters, Janice Cook and Dianna Brown.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 12:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
