Harlan Foster, son of the late Issac Howard and Susie Foster, was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on March 8, 1931, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 21, 2011, at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 13 days.
He had lived in the Sikeston area before moving to Puxico 49 years ago. He attended the Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church near Puxico and was a member of the V.F.W. He was a row crop and livestock farmer and enjoyed camping and being with his grandchildren.
On August 25, 1951, he was married to Nora Launa Long in Piggott, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on March 15, 1978.
Surviving are his companion, Evadeen Choat of Puxico, Missouri, one son and wife, Jeff & Brenda Foster of Puxico, Missouri; four daughters and husbands, Pat & David Holloway of Puxico, Missouri, Kathy & David Watkins of Oran, Missouri, Janet & Bob Muckerman of St. Louis, Missouri, Leslie & Tony Martin of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Patrick Holloway, Nathan & Jannette Walk, Jason & Rachel Watkins Meystedt, Ethan & Heather Watkins, Jacob Muckerman, Dan & Jessica Muckerman Presson, Zack Martin, Molly Martin, Matt & Miranda Foster, Mark Foster, Hannah Foster; three great grandchildren, Taylor, Presley & Ella; two brothers, Harold Foster of Bloomfield, Missouri, George Foster of Puxico, Missouri; two sisters, Kathryn Ruble of Kansas City, Missouri and Charlene Griffin of Chaffee, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one grandson, John Jesse Walk, and two sisters, Joann Foster and Mary Wooley.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 24, 2011, at 11 a.m., at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, Missouri and the Rev. Glenn Epps of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with full Military Honors conducted. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Harold E. Jones, son of the late William Harrison and Jessie Marie Clark Jones, was born in Fisk, Missouri on January 24, 1923, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on October 20, 2011, at the age of 88 years, 8 months and 26 days.
He had lived in Nebraska and Iowa and returned to the Puxico area in 1963 where he lived until moving to Poplar Bluff recently. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He had worked as a lineman for Chicago and Northwestern before he retired and was a farmer. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during WW II.
On January 26, 1946, he was married to Evelyn Irene Mansbridge in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Irene Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two daughters & husbands, Sandra Kay & Harold DePew of Walworth, Wisconsin, Carolyn & Bob Fisher of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one son, John & Pat Biltoft of Mountain Home, Arkansas; a special adoptee, Ernie Woodall of Clarkton, Missouri, five grandchildren and spouses, Jeremy Asher, Will & Leslie Asher, Aaron & Chris Asher, Jessica & Joel Murphy, Bobbi Jo & Heath Lance; thirteen great grandchildren, Erika, Kynlee, Chad, Bailey, Dylan, Logan, Mason, Nolan, Austin, Mackenzie, Natalie, Gavin and Brooklyn; one sister, Isabel Clark of Valejo, California; and two brothers, Donald Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Willis Jones of Piedmont, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay Jones.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 22, 2011, after 12 noon at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Dallas Merriman of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Adams was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter, a home-maker and resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Charles B. Adams Jr. on March 22, 1952 at Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Adams survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Diane Adams of Dexter: by one daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mike Mills of Dexter: by one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Dwight and Brenda Bland of Booneville: by three grandchildren, Michael W. Mills and wife Amy of Ashland, Matt Mills and wife Marissa of Dexter and Patrick Adams of Dexter: by four great-grandchildren, Montgomery Mills, Monroe Mills, Margot Mills and Lanie Grey Mills: by one brother-in-law, Earl C. Williams of Dexter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Williams.

Lance Alan Espey, son of Beverly Webb Hunter of Dexter and Watt Espey of St. Louis, Missouri, was born August 12, 1960 in Poplar Bluff and died on October 19, 2011 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 51.
Mr. Espey was a resident of Dexter and worked on heating and air conditioning units in the area.
Besides his parents he is survived by one son, Kyle Espey of Dexter; by one daughter and son-in-law, Tara and husband Shannon Eubanks of Festus, Missouri; by seven brothers, Tom Espey of Dexter, Stacy Greer of Dexter, Tracy Greer of Sedalia, Todd Espey of St. Louis, Brad Espey of St. Louis, Matt Greer of St. Louis, and Joe Hunter of Baltimore, Maryland; and by two sisters, Debbie Hunter of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Melinda Hunter of Las Vegas, Nevada; and by two grandchildren, Austin and Aubrie Eubanks, both of Festus.

He had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of his life. He was the co-owner of the Hickory Log Restaurant in Dexter until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion Post 59, the Elks Lodge and the Lion's Club.
On August 20, 1965, he was married to Betty Jo Grubbs in Kennett, Missouri. She preceded him in death on September 22, 2000.
Surviving are a special friend and companion, Jackie Alberson of Essex, Missouri; by two step-daughters & husbands, Carla & Roy McDonald of Malden, Missouri, Kim & Randy Sell of Atoka, Tennessee; two step-grandchildren & spouse, Stephanie Jill McDonald & Louis Lopez; by two sisters, Mima E. Hooten of Eugene, Oregon and Louise Hamilton of Seymore, Missouri; a half brother, Tom Fralick of Evening Shade, Arkansas and his step-mother, Kate Hamby of Evening Shade, Arkansas. He is also surved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Chester L. Fralick, and by three sisters, Helen E. Rains, Mary E. Vinton, and Juanita Taylor.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2011, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Dexter Elk's Lodge 2439 will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. during the visitation.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 11 a.m., at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter and Darryl Orr of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Missouri Military Honors & American Legion Post 59 conducting full military honors.
