Rodger Dale Frields

Rodger Frields, son of Albert and Rebecca Clayton Frields of Dexter, was born on December 4, 1949 in Poplar Bluff and died on March 13, 2011 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 61.
Rodger was a plumber and a resident of Dexter.
Besides his parents he is survived by two daughters, Amy Frields and her daughter Katelyn of the home in Dexter and Tina Clark of Zalma; by one son Michael Moore of Dover, Tennessee; by three sisters Sherry Burnett of Dexter, Melody Savley of Nixa, Missouri and Robin Huffman of Dexter and by five grandchildren, Katelyn, Trista, Tiffany, Trey and Josh.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Metcalf officiating. Interment will follow in the Dudley cemetery.

Raymond Gowen

Raymond F. "Chub" Gowen, son of the late James Alfred and Minnie Jane Foster Gowen, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 14, 1920, and passed away in the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on March 12, 2011, at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 26 days.
Mr. Gowen had lived in Gray Ridge, Missouri most of his life until moving to Dexter in 1996. He appreciated God's creation in nature and enjoyed fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. He especially enjoyed the spring time.
On August 2, 1941, he was married to Beatrice M. Tucker in Bloomfield, Missouri. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2005.
He is survived by one son & spouse, Billy Ray & Jean Gowen of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three daughters & spouses, Wanda Sue & Charles Griffin, Paula Jean & Don Jones all of Dexter, Missouri, Donna Joan & Alan Mansker of Tucson, Arizona; six grandchildren, LaTrisha Earnheart, Lyle Allen, Marla Catanach, Lisa Gowen, Thad Jones and Joshua Mansker; and eight great-grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Jimmy & Jackie Gowen; five sisters, Virginia Livesay, Dorothy Hughes Parker, Mary Eaves, Bessie Gowen and one in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Dean Williams of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Frances Irene Farmer

Frances Irene Farmer, daughter of the late John William Richard and Kathren Frank Richard was born on May 31, 1938 at Cairo, Illinois and departed this life in the St. John’s Mercy Hospital at Washington, Missouri on March 11, 2011 at the age of 72.
Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Pentecostal Worship Center in St. Clair, a home-maker, a resident of St. Clair, formerly of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Robert Burdette Farmer on February 27, 1954 at Dexter. Mr. Farmer preceded her in death on February 11, 1996.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws: Robert and Judy Farmer, Charles and Jeanie Farmer all of St. Clair: by one daughter and son-in-law, Vickey and Matt VanNess of St. Clair: by one brother, Carl “COTTON” Richard of Dexter: by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Randy Farmer; by four brothers, James Richard, Odis Jerry Richard, John Henry Richard and Willi Gene Richard: by one sister, Nola May Johnson.

Eldred Clipperton

Eldrid Clipperton, son of the late Norval H. and Hazel Blakeman Clipperton, was born in Pasadena, California on August 28, 1919, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on March 13, 2011, at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 13 days.
Mr. Clipperton had lived in Mesa, Arizona for 33 years and moved to Bloomfield a year ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona. He had worked as a manager with Northrop-Gruman Corp. He was the Captain of a B-17 Bomber in the U. S. Air Force during WWII where he flew 32 missions.
He was married to Dona Coleman Fisk in Idaho.
Surviving are his wife, Dona Clipperton of Bloomfield, Missouri; two daughters, Dee Anne Hayes of Bloomfield, Missouri, Janice Tewell of Spokane, Washington; four sons, Ron Clipperton of Spokane, Washington, Curtis Clipperton of San Antonio, Texas, Doug Clipperton of Mojave, California, Leslie Fisk of Pine Grove, California; and numerous grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.

Joan E. Mayberry, daughter of the late John Crook and Charlene Qualls Crook, was born on February 4, 1941 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life March 8, 2011 at her residence in rural Essex at the age of 70 years.
rs. Mayberry was of the Protestant faith, a LPN for the past 32 years and had most recently worked at Crowley Ridge Nursing Home in Dexter, and a resident of rural Essex.
She was united in marriage to Dale Mayberry on December 8, 1962 in Marion, Indiana. Mr. Mayberry survives of the home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Keith Mayberry and wife, Sabra of Essex, Missouri; by one daughter, Kim Holifield and husband, Jack of Kennett, Missouri; by three sisters, Glenda Crook Wilson of Dexter, Dorothy Pascazi of Rolla, Mary Ann McLemore of Draffenville, Kentucky; and by three grandchildren, Caitlyn Mayberry, Cole Mayberry, and Cayla Mayberry, who were the light of her life.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Crook.
