Joan E. Mayberry

Joan E. Mayberry, daughter of the late John Crook and Charlene Qualls Crook, was born on February 4, 1941 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life March 8, 2011 at her residence in rural Essex at the age of 70 years.
rs. Mayberry was of the Protestant faith, a LPN for the past 32 years and had most recently worked at Crowley Ridge Nursing Home in Dexter, and a resident of rural Essex.
She was united in marriage to Dale Mayberry on December 8, 1962 in Marion, Indiana. Mr. Mayberry survives of the home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Keith Mayberry and wife, Sabra of Essex, Missouri; by one daughter, Kim Holifield and husband, Jack of Kennett, Missouri; by three sisters, Glenda Crook Wilson of Dexter, Dorothy Pascazi of Rolla, Mary Ann McLemore of Draffenville, Kentucky; and by three grandchildren, Caitlyn Mayberry, Cole Mayberry, and Cayla Mayberry, who were the light of her life.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Crook.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 5until 8 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Roy Stafford officiating.
