Flash Flood Warning Issued for Stoddard County
Stoddard County, Missouri - The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky has upgraded the Flash Flood Watch to a Flash Flood Warning for Stoddard County, Missouri.  Some roads have been closed due to high water.
  • THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CST FOR STODDARD... BUTLER... WAYNE AND BOLLINGER COUNTIES...
  • AT 934 PM CST... DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STEADY RAINS CONTINUING ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. OVER 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN SOME LOCATIONS TODAY... AND ANOTHER INCH OR SO IS LIKELY IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. MANY ROADS ACROSS THE AREA ARE REPORTED TO HAVE AT LEAST SOME WATER OVER THEM. MANY DITCHES AND SMALL STREAMS ARE NEAR BANKFULL.
  • SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE... POPLAR BLUFF... DEXTER... PIEDMONT... BERNIE... BLOOMFIELD... MARBLE HILL... ADVANCE... GREENVILLE... WAPPAPELLO LAKE AREA...
