
Bloomfield, Missouri - The Student Ministry Programs from area churches are sponsoring the annual Praise at the Park on Wednesday, October 12th from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bloomfield City Park.
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy praise and worship, testimonies, games, and concessions! All ages and churches are invited to attend.

Dexter, Missouri - Since 2008 the members of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ have served delicious Kettle Beef on the first Sunday of October.
The tradition continues on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tickets for adults is $8.00 each and for children 10 and under $5.00 each.
Kettle Beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, rolls, drinks, a dessert will be served. Sound delicious!!
Carry-outs are available on adult ticket orders only and drive-thru is also available. Call the church at 624-4341.
All proceeds will be used to help provide Easter dinners for families in the Stoddard county area.

Bloomfield, Missouri - Levi Stinson is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and all proceeds will got to help with the financial burden of fighting this awful disease. His mother Sarah Stockton and father Clinton Stinson would like you to please enjoy an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at First Assembly in Bloomfield on Saturday, September 17th. Levi has two siblings at home, Lindsey and Cole and recently turned 4 years old in May 2016.
No child should ever have to endure living with cancer. Levi Stinson of Bloomfield was diagnosed with type B acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in 2014.
(ALL) is a form of cancer of the blood cells which causes the overproduction of immature, cancerous white blood cells and limits the production of normal red and white blood cells and platelets.
Levi has been receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
Please come out and raise money for a wonderful family and a good cause as Levi fights daily to get well.

Dexter, Missouri - First United Methodist Church in Dexter created 300 educator goody bags for Dexter Public School teachers and staff.
Today, Donna Keller, Dee Wamble, Vicky Jarrell, Pastor Ron Beaton, Shirley Alexander, and Larry White delivered the bags to the schools.
What an awesome idea and everyone appreciated all the surprises. The bags were filled with chocolate candy, hard candy, chips, pencils, popcorn, protein bars, Post-it notes, pens, tissues..and a note that they are praying for everyone at all the schools, bus garage, and administration building..
This morning Donna Keller, Dee Wamble, Vicky Jarrell, Pastor Ron Beaton, Shirley Alexander, and Larry White delivered almost 300 educator goody bags from Dexter First United Methodist Church to all the employees of Dexter Public Schools.
