
Bloomfield, Missouri - The Student Ministry Programs from area churches are sponsoring the annual Praise at the Park on Wednesday, October 12th from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bloomfield City Park.
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy praise and worship, testimonies, games, and concessions! All ages and churches are invited to attend.

Bloomfield, Missouri - Levi Stinson is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and all proceeds will got to help with the financial burden of fighting this awful disease. His mother Sarah Stockton and father Clinton Stinson would like you to please enjoy an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at First Assembly in Bloomfield on Saturday, September 17th. The church is located at 20034 State Highway E in Bloomfield. Cost is $8.00 for adults, children 4 - 10 the cost is $4.00 each and children 3 and under are FREE! You will also be given a choice of side of bacon or sausage and drinks will be coffee, juice, milk or water.
Levi has two siblings at home, Lindsey and Cole and recently turned 4 years old in May 2016.
No child should ever have to endure living with cancer. Levi Stinson of Bloomfield was diagnosed with type B acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in 2014.
(ALL) is a form of cancer of the blood cells which causes the overproduction of immature, cancerous white blood cells and limits the production of normal red and white blood cells and platelets.
Levi has been receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
Please come out and raise money for a wonderful family and a good cause as Levi fights daily to get well.

Bloomfield, Missouri - More than 100 people turned-out for the first Prayer Walk for Bloomfield Schools. It was a powerful and emotional evening as community members walked the campus and prayed for Bloomfield R-14 staff and students.
Administrators, teachers, parents, students, former students, school board members, retired staff and members of the community were in attendance.
"Our school matters," commented Barbara Rice. "I am so proud of our school and our community. This brought happy tears upon recalling many happy school years for me, my family and the 28 years of being a part of the staff at Bloomfield Schools."
"There were prayers for students, staff, administration, parents for protection and for knowledge," commented organizer Heather White. "It was powerful! I can't wait to see what good things are in store for our school."
"I think we have a new tradition," continued White.
Bloomfield R-14 Schools begin on Thursday, August 18th. We hope each of you have a great 2016-2017 school year!

Bloomfield, Missouri - A Prayer Walk will be held at Bloomfield Schools on Wednesday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m.
All who believe in the power of prayer are invited to attend. Everyone will meet at the Bloomfield High School gym parking lot for Opening Prayer by Heather White.
Then everyone will walk the perimeter of the campus praying silently. Afterwards, they will divide up and kneel or place a hand on a specific building to pray for the staff and students for the upcoming academic school year.
All ages are encouraged to come and pray.
Please share and help get the word out to all Bloomfield residents. It doesn't matter if you have a child or grandchild in school, just come out and pray for everyone!

Bloomfield, Missouri - The 9th Annual Benefit Fish Fry and Silent Auction will be held at the Bootheel Youth Camp located at 21200 County Road 525 in Bloomfield, Missouri on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
There will be no charge for the lunch; however donations are gratefully accepted. The auction will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with lunch beginning at noon.
