Essex, Missouri - Farm Credit hosted an Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, January 27, 2018 for farmers and clients at the Lion's Den in Essex, Missouri.
Farmers are the backbone of our great nation. It is amazing to realize how agriculture impacts our lives every day. Food and fiber products play a major role in each part of our lives and without them we would perish. Our country would perish. Farm Credit knows that. Together they make things grow!
The breakfast was free to those who attended. Biscuits, gravy, bacon, and eggs were on the menu and each seemed appreciative of the breakfast.
"I worked for Farm Credit for thirty years," commented Tom Love, who really enjoyed his plate of bacon!
"We hope to make this an annual event during January," commented Mark Zabelin, Dexter Farm Credit VP/Branch Manager. "I believe we served about 100 people on Saturday and were surprised by the turnout. It was a good morning for sure."
