Dexter, Missouri - The seventh candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Riley Thornton.
Riley is the daughter of Monica Thornton and Dennis Thornton.
Her activities include girls' tennis team, women's choir, Sr. Beta Club, FCCLA, and the Drama, Speech, and Debate Team.
Riley's future plans are to attend college at Southeast Missouri State University to major in acting with a minor in broadcasting!
Riley was escorted by Greyson Stephens.
Greyson is the son of John and Joan Stephens.

Dexter, Missouri - The fifth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Amber Scott.
Amber is the daughter of Deny and Sharon Scott.
Her activities include Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, Marching Band, Scholar Bowl Team, and the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.
Her future plans are to attend Loyola University in Chicago. She is majoring in entrepreneurship and wants to create a business of her own.
She was escorted by Jordan Adams.
Jordan is the son of Jody and Becky Adams.
He described Amber as, "Beautiful, Intelligent, and Kind."
Dexter, Missouri - The fourth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Emily Ladd.
Emily is the daughter of Barry and Inga Ladd.
Her activities include cross country, track and field, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, Scholar Bowl Team, and Art Club.
She plans to attend college and pursue a major in linguistics.
She was escorted by Seth Harris.
Seth is the son of Mike and Christy Harris.
Seth's three words to describe Emily are, "Smart, Funny, and Sarcastic!"
Dexter, Missouri - The third candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Addison Kruse.
Addison is the daughter of Scott and Kerri Kruse.
Her activities include volleyball, basketball cheerleader, Student Council, Student Body Vice-President, Pep Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, Tobacco Free Missouri Youth, Honors Choir, Girls State, Sr. Beta Club, and National Honor Society.
Her future plans are to attend college, but is undecided on where or what her major will be.
She was escorted by Jake Rice.
Jake is the daughter of Lloyd and Heather Rice.
Jake's response to describing Addison in three words were, "Bubbly, Beautiful, and Boss!"
Dexter, Missouri - The second candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Rhylan Hillis.
She is the daughter of Tory Hillis and Darren Hillis.
Rhylan's activities include volleyball, football cheerleader, basketball cheerleader, track and field, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, Top 10%, Teens Against Smoking Coalition, Honors Choir, and Model UN.
Her future plans are to attend and cheer at the University of Mississippi. She will major in journalism and hopefully pursue a career in broadcasting.
Rhylan was escorted by her brother, Haden Hillis.
His also the son of Tory Hillis and Darren Hillis.
When asked to describe his sister in three words, Haden said, "The Perfect Child!"
