2015 DHS Homecoming Candidate - Miss Kaitlyn Seiter

Dexter, Missouri - Miss Kaitlyn Seiter was the eighth candidate of the evening.

Katy is a senior and is the daughter of Leslie and Larry Seiter. 

She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Foreign Language Club, Drama, Speech and Debate, National Honor Society, and the ACES Medical Program. 

Katy is currently serving as the secretary for Student Council and is on the track team. 

In the future, Katy plans to attend Arizona State University and study Pre-Med. 

Katy was nominated by the football team.

Escorting Miss Seiter tonight is Austin Mitchell.  Austin is a senior and is the son of Allen Mitchell and Shelly Reeves.  Austin is a member of the football and track teams.

2015 DHS Homecoming Candidate - Miss Caroline Powers

Dexter, Missouri -  Miss Caroline Powers was the seventh candidate this evening. 

Caroline is a junior and is the daughter of Chuck and Felicia Powers. 

She is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Foreign Language Club, United Nations, Semo Showstoppers, Honors Choir, A-Capella, Refuge Youth Group, and Resonate Praise Band. 

Caroline is currently serving as President of Future Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).  She is also in the Top 10% of her class and a member of the football cheerleading squad and the Kicking Cats Dance team. 

In the future Caroline plans to attend college to study radiation biology to become a chemo-therapy nurse and minor in music therapy. 

Caroline was nominated by the Football Cheerleading Squad.

Escorting Miss Caroline tonight was Austin Chesser.  Austin is a senior and is the son of Scott and Cynthia Chesser.  Austin is a member of the Honors Choir and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He is also on the Varsity football and basketball teams.

2015 DHS Homecoming Attendant - Miss Melanie McKuin

Dexter, Missouri - The sixth candidate this evening was Miss Melanie McKuin.

Melanie is the daughter of Barry and Kim McKuin. 

She is a senior and is active in Foreign Language Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Dexter Honor Society, Speech, Drama, and the Debate Club.  Melanie is in the top 10% of her class.  Melanie also is a member of the Varsity Basketball team. 

In the future, Melanie plans to attend college and later attend pharmacy school. 

Melanie was nominated by the football team.

Escorting Miss McKuin tonight is Tyler Stevenson. 

Tyler is a senior and is the son of Kay Stevenson of Dexter and Keith Stevenson.  He is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, DECA, Rotary Interact, Dexter Honor Society, Boy Scouts, and Children of the American Revolution.  Tyler is also in the top 10% of his class and is a member of the Varsity Football team.

2015 DHS Homecoming Candidate - Miss Taryn Fortner

Dexter, Missouri - Miss Taryn Fortner was the third candidate of the evening. 

Taryn is a junior and is the daughter of Jodi and David Fortner.  She is active in Future Business Leaders of America, Future Career and Community Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Foreign Language Club, yearbook staff, and is on the Cross Country team. 

Taryn’s future plans are to attend Texas A&M and study Architecture. 

Taryn was nominated by the Cross Country team.

Escorting Miss Fortner is Christopher Seabaugh.  Christopher is the son of Tim and Michelle Seabaugh.  Christopher is a member of Future Business Leaders of America and is on the Cross Country and Wrestling teams.

Dexter, Missouri - Miss Kalee Victoria Howard was the fifth candidate this evening. 

Kalee is the daughter of Bonnie and Wes Howard. 

She is a senior and is involved in Student Council, Future Teachers of America, and Fellowship of Christian athletes.

Kalee is a member of the Lady Cats Tennis team. 

In the future she plans to attend college and pursue a profession in the medical field. 

Kalee was nominated by the tennis team.

Escorting Miss Howard tonight was Jason Jarrell.  Jason is a junior and is the son of Dennis and Paula Jarrell.  He is involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He is also a member of the varsity football, baseball, and basketball teams.
