Lonnie Clubb of Puxico, son of the late Odis and Martha VanMatre Clubb, was born in McGee, Missouri on September 14,1941, and passed away at his residence in Puxico on, August 11, 2017, at the age of 75 years,  10 months and 27 days.

Lonnie  lived in Puxico, area most all his life. He was a minister of the General Baptist faith and was a member of the Elk General Baptist Church in Broseley Missouri.

Lonnie liked  to coon hunt, and enjoyed gardening.

On September 23, 1961, he was married to Sue Bippus in Puxico, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Sue of Puxico; one son & wife, Michael (April) Clubb of Puxico; three daughters & husbands, Charlotte (David) Stagner, of Cape Girardeau; Patricia (Lynn) Holloway, of Puxico, Gayle (Ronnie) Wright, of Scott City Missouri; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; two brothers Thomas (Pat) Clubb, of Puxico; Larry (Mary) Clubb, of Wappappello; two sisters Veda Elledge and Lela (John) Arena all of Poplar Bluff. Other relatives and many friends also survive. One, brother Donald Clubb; and a half sister Velma McClendon; 3 sisters and 1 brother in infancy; one half sister in infancy; and 2 half brothers preceded him.

Friends may call on Monday, August 14, 2017, from 12 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Fairview Methodist Church near Puxico, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017,  at 1:00 a.m. at the Fairview Methodist Church near Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Jimmy Clark of Puxico  officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.

Jane Larsen, daughter of the late Seward Worley and Mae Wilkerson Worley was born on April 20, 1927 in Aid, Missouri and departed this life on August 11, 2017 at the Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 90.

Mrs. Larsen was a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church in Aid, Missouri, where she was the longest member; a homemaker and a talented seamstress.

On November 17, 1945, she was united in marriage to J.C. Larsen in Piggott, Arkansas.  Mr. Larson preceded her in death on September 18, 2012.

She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Asberry and Becky (John) Agey both of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Norval (Pansy) Worley of Dexter, Missouri and Carol (Jan) Worley of Pacific, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Gray, Chris (Amy) Asberry and Autumn (Vance) Turner; by seven great-grandchildren, Nick Gray, Dylan Gray, Lauren Gray, Sydney Asberry, Jessica Portney, Charlie Turner and Allie Turner.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Dees and by one brother, Ray Worley.

Friends may call at Rainey Mathis Funeral in Dexter on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.  Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Sunday, August 13, 2017 with Rev. Ron Williams officiating.  

Interment will follow at the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Terry Lynn Flowers, daughter of the late Glyn Leon Bowman and Helen Gene Cartwright Bowman was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on February 12, 1995 and departed this life at her residence in Rural Bernie, Missouri on August 10, 2017 at the age of 62.

 

 Mrs. Flowers had worked at Nordyne in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and was a homemaker.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bernie.

 

 She was united in marriage to David Ray Flowers in Bernie, Missouri on May 25, 1973.  Mr. Flowers remains in their home in Rural Bernie.

 

Other survivors include one son, David Ray Flowers Jr. & wife Stephanie of Arlington, Tennessee; by one daughter, Jamie Ann Placher & husband Perry of Puxico, Missouri; by one sister, Sharon Cullen of Folsom, California; by five Grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by one brother, Dennis Bowman.

A Memorial service will then be conducted at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ray Placher officiating.  

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery.

Richard Gene Wiseman, son of Cecil Wiseman and Della England Wiseman both of Dexter, was born on September 29, 1952 in Dexter and departed this life on August 4, 2017 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 64.

Mr. Wiseman was Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War.  He had formerly worked at the Dexter Wal-Mart as their Automotive Supervisor and was a resident of Dexter.

On May 5, 1975, he was united in marriage to Clara Whitaker in Dexter.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, Kalie Whalen, Bran Whalen and Dakoda Whalen: by one brother, Kenneth Wiseman of Dexter: by one sister, Peggy Shaver of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Whalen: by his step-mother, Judy Wiseman and by his brother in law, Bill Shaver. 

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.  Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with full Military Honors. 

Vance Duane Windham, son of the late James Vance Windham and Maudie Faye Geno Windham, was born on August 29, 1935, in Prentiss County, Mississippi.  Duane passed away surrounded by close family on August 4, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 81. 

Duane is a retired physical education teacher in the St. Louis school system.  He was a teacher for 30 years.  After retirement he spent his time with family, extensive gardening, and playing golf. 

He was a member of, and attended, Grace Baptist Church in St. Charles, Missouri. 

Along with his parents, Vance and Maudie, one brother, Franklin “Manzy” Windham, preceded him in death.   

He is survived by two sisters, Martha Windham Hagler (Roger) and Joyce Windham Green (Glen); one son, Don James Windham (Vicki); two grandsons, Eric James and Ryan James Windham; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.  

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.  Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at the Booneville Funeral Home.

The visitation will take place at the Booneville Funeral Home in Booneville, Mississippi.

He will be laid to rest at the Crossroads Methodist Church in Jumpertown, Mississippi.  

Officiating will be Brother Jason Franklin and Brother M.J. Pope.
