In Memory of Lonnie Clubb
Lonnie Clubb of Puxico, son of the late Odis and Martha VanMatre Clubb, was born in McGee, Missouri on September 14,1941, and passed away at his residence in Puxico on, August 11, 2017, at the age of 75 years,  10 months and 27 days.

Lonnie  lived in Puxico, area most all his life. He was a minister of the General Baptist faith and was a member of the Elk General Baptist Church in Broseley Missouri.

Lonnie liked  to coon hunt, and enjoyed gardening.

On September 23, 1961, he was married to Sue Bippus in Puxico, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Sue of Puxico; one son & wife, Michael (April) Clubb of Puxico; three daughters & husbands, Charlotte (David) Stagner, of Cape Girardeau; Patricia (Lynn) Holloway, of Puxico, Gayle (Ronnie) Wright, of Scott City Missouri; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; two brothers Thomas (Pat) Clubb, of Puxico; Larry (Mary) Clubb, of Wappappello; two sisters Veda Elledge and Lela (John) Arena all of Poplar Bluff. Other relatives and many friends also survive. One, brother Donald Clubb; and a half sister Velma McClendon; 3 sisters and 1 brother in infancy; one half sister in infancy; and 2 half brothers preceded him.

Friends may call on Monday, August 14, 2017, from 12 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Fairview Methodist Church near Puxico, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017,  at 1:00 a.m. at the Fairview Methodist Church near Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Jimmy Clark of Puxico  officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
