Warren Marshall Eaves, son of Larry W. Eaves of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Pattie Fields Consolo of Sahuarita, Arizona, was born on March 18, 1977, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and passed away on February 26, 2013, in Bell City, Missouri, at the age of 35 years.
Mr. Eaves was a member of the St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and was employed as a drywall contractor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Iraq War.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Marshall Ray Eaves of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by one sister, Sara Eaves of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by one niece and nephew, Gabrielle Ava Maria Eaves and Xavier DeShawn Eaves, both of Cape Girardeau; by his aunt and uncle, Beverly and Duane Allen, and their children, Sloane, Scott and Jeremy; by his aunt and uncle, Cheryl and John Fields, and their children, Nicole Stamey and Rachel East; by his step-mother, Michelle Marie Eaves, of Bonne Terre, Missouri; by three step-brothers, Eric Todd O’Neal, Michael Todd O’Neal and Kelly Carter O’Neal; by one step-sister, Erica Michelle O’Neal; by one step-nephew, Carson Trey O’Neal; and by his step-father, Paul Consolo of Sahuarita, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe W. (Papa Joe) and Betty Lou (Nana Betty) Eaves; and by his maternal grandparents, John (Papa Jay) and Mary (Nana Mary) Fields.
Warren was surrounded by a close circle of friends, Justin Vickings, Aaron Vance, Joey Abbott, Dennis Clay, Henry Kennmore and Chris Ervin.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel March 4, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with the Bishop Ron Webb, Pastor of the Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri.
Betty Henderson Joyner, daughter of the late George Allen and Ruth Brown Carwile, was born in Flint, Michigan on December 6, 1928, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on February 25, 2013, at the age of 84 years.
She had lived in Dexter most of her life. She had attended the First General Baptist Church and had worked as an LPN for Dr. Robert Jibben, Sr. several years ago. She and her husband loved to travel and had spent the winter in Brownsville, Texas for several years.
She was married to Colin John Brady of Florida and William Kenneth Link of Aquilla. On September, 24, 1954, she was married to Marteen William "Fat" Henderson, with whom she operated the Bootheel Restaurant, he preceded her in death on January 1, 1974. On March 7, 1975, she was married to Nathan Hubert "Doc" Corbin, he preceded her in death on March 24, 1994. In October, 1997, she was married to Thomas W. Joyner in Piggott, Arkansas.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Joyner of Dexter; one daughter, Cheryl "Sherry" Brody Zimmerman of Dexter; one son, Bill Link of Dexter; one step-son, Bud Joyner of Poplar Bluff; one step-daughter, Linda Morgan of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Jana Wyman & Jenni Zimmerman both of Dexter, Beckie Link-King of Sidney, Arkansas, Paul Link of Burlington, Vermont; two step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; two step-great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Carwile of Dexter, Missouri; and one sister, Bonnie Hester of San Antonio, Texas. Other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Donnie Price.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 1, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Velvadean "Dean" Hendrix, daughter of the late Richard Overton and Lula Jackson Overton Hodge, was born in Zalma on December 25, 1926, and passed away at the Westwood Hills Health Care Facility in Poplar Bluff on February 23, 2013, at the age of 86 years.
She was raised in Puxico, spent from 1951 to 1990 in Alton, Illinois and moved to Wappapello in 1990. She was a member of the Lakeland Assembly of God Church in Wappapello.
On November 2, 1946, she was married to Leland Hendrix in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death January 4, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a loving step-father, Washington Hodge, her brothers, Benton, Basil, Bazel, Beauford, Richard; a sister, Vernola; a step-sister, Lula Potter; and a granddaughter, Angela (Hendrix) Winegar.
Surviving are one son & wife, Richard & Jenny Hendrix of Apple Valley, Minnesota; three daughters and husbands, Paula & Larry Wooldridge of Maryville, Illinois, Connie Hendrix and Lula & Michael Larson both of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren & spouses, Rachael & Craig Butler, Matthew & Erin Wooldridge, Christopher Hendrix, David & Sueann Schwent, Ryan McBee and Mia & Don Southerland; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; two sisters, Vadola Martin of Puxico and (Victoria) Ruth George of Alhambra, Illinois. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Arvin Haynes of Wappapello officiating.
Interment will be in the Fagan Cemetery near Puxico with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

Jenny Mayberry, daughter of Brian Oxley of Muscatine, Iowa and the late Terri Heath Oxley was born on May 19, 1979 at Fort Pendleton, California and departed this life on February 25, 2013 at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Emergency Room in Dexter at the age of 33 years.
Jenny was a former Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, was originally from the Iowa City area currently living in Dexter, Missouri.
On December 20, 2008 she was united in marriage to Peter Mayberry at West Liberty, Iowa. Peter survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides her husband and father, other survivors include four daughters, Tristan Humphrey, Hunter Humphrey, and Micah Stine all of Tipton, Iowa and Dakota Mayberry of Dexter, Missouri; by one step-son, Sheldon Mayberry of Wilton, Iowa; one step-daughter, Lacee Mayberry of Wilton, Iowa; by her step-mother, Connie Oxley of Muscatine, Iowa; and by one brother, Nick Oxley of Iowa.

Bernice Cox, daughter of the late Claude Strickland and Blanche Liley Strickland was born on September 25, 1934 in Hartsville, Missouri and died on February 24, 2013 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 78.
Mrs. Cox was a resident of Dexter and a member of the Dexter Church of Christ, Southeast Health at Dexter Hospital Auxiliary, received the community service award for the State of Missouri in 2005, the first recipient of the Richland teacher of the year award where she taught in the district for twenty-three years, a volunteer for the area agency on aging, Elder’s volunteering for Elder’s community outreach and was the former president of the BPW.
On December 19, 1953 she was united in marriage to George Cox at Maryland Heights, Missouri. Mr. Cox survives of their home in Dexter.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Jeffrey Cox of Dexter; by two daughters, Sherry Alsup of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kimberly Lawrence of St. Louis, Missouri; by two sisters, Janie Curry of St. Louis, Missouri and Lucille Duckworth of Albany, Georgia and by seven grandchildren, Jeremy Cox, Jared Cox, Rory Cox, Kara Alsup, Matthew Alsup, Hannah Lawrence and Collin Lawrence.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Doyle Strickland and by one sister, Marie Bakker.
