Nolan Walker, son of the late William E. Walker and Elvira Burnette Walker was born on December 29, 1940 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on Monday October 31, 2011 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 70 years.
Mr. Walker was a superintendent at Huffman Construction in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and a resident of Dexter, Missouri formally of Bloomfield.
On December 18, 1961 he was united in marriage to Linda Midgett in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mrs. Walker survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, other survivors include two daughters, Tracy Walker of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Holly K. Frymire and husband Steve of Bloomfield, Missouri; three brothers, Bill Walker of St. Charles, Missouri, Benny Walker and Ralph Walker both of Wappapello, Missouri; by six sisters, Tina Rainey of St. Louis, Missouri, Barbara McMillian of O’Fallon, Missouri, Wanda Cobb of Kentucky, June Bollinger of Bloomfield, Missouri, Judy Duncan of Florida, and Rita LaVern Turner of Kentucky; also by three grandchildren, Niki Shott, Alesha Phillips, and Hunter Frymire; and three great-grandchildren, Kilee Shott, Kashlee Shott, and Nolan Phillips.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Walker and by one sister, Maxine Simms.

Westmoreland, son of the late Clyde E., Sr. and Margaret May Armstrong Westmoreland, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 9, 1937, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on October 29, 2011, at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 20 days.
He had lived in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Puxico in 1999. He attended the Pleasant Valley Church and was a retired construction worker.
On September 24, 1955, he was married to Shelba J. Hodge in St. Louis, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Shelba J. Westmoreland of Puxico, Missouri, four sons and wives, Michael and Kim Westmoreland of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Donald and Maureen Westmoreland of Seattle, Washington, Daniel and Mollie Westmoreland of Parker, Colorado, David and Trish Westmoreland of Piedmont, Missouri; by ten grandchildren, Jessica Michelle Kopp, Donnie Westmoreland, Sarah West, Wendy Woods, Dawn Marie Lizenski, Jason Pratt, Jeffrey Pratt, Ashley Pratt, Andy West, and Amanda West; 12 great grandchildren, Ian, Cullen, Alissa, Christopher, Cody, Lacy, Kayle, Katylin, Jason, Kaprielle, Mariah and Deaven; one brother, James Allen Westmoreland of Arnold, Missouri; by two sisters, Margaret Scott and husband, John; and Barbara Steinbrugge of St. Peters, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Pearson and Doris Crissell.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2011, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 12:30 p.m., at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Gary Burns of Advance, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full Military Honors conducted. Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Marion moved to Bloomfield in 1952. In her early life she worked as a bookkeeper, telephone operator, and later worked at Elder Manufacturing for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield where she was an avid quilter as part of the Helping Hands Organization and had also volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program.
She was first married to Joseph Rolland Lloyd who preceded her in death in 1949. On October 1, 1950 she married Paul Daniel Marion who preceded her in death in 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph Rolland Lloyd Jr. of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Julian Paul Marion and wife, Patty of Mountain Home, Arkansas; by one daughter, Melody Ann Horton and husband, Charlie of Diamondhead, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Shawn Lloyd of Dexter, Missouri, Michael Lloyd and wife Charity of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Julie Marion Haney and husband Sam of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Jason Marion and wife Tracey of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and four great-grandchildren, Abbie Lloyd of Dexter, Missouri, Hayden Miller of Gassville, Arkansas, Drew Haney of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Maddox Marion of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Julian & John Julian, and two sisters, Ella Mae Julian and Elsie Marie Julian.
Friends may visit on Friday, October 28, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m., at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Watkins of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Helping Hands Organization in care of the First Baptist Church of Bloomfield, Missouri, or Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Charles Jeff Smith, son of the late John Tyler Smith and Anna D. Mayberry Smith was born on August 17, 1916 in Leora, Missouri and departed this life on October 26, 2011 at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Emergency Room in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 95 years.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, Terminal Manager and Truck Driver for Hart Transportation in Dexter for 18 years, and a resident of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Virginia Robinson on June 28, 1941 in Kennett, Missouri. Mrs. Smith survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, survivors include two brothers, Halen Smith of Puxico, Missouri and John C. Smith of Garden City, Michigan; also by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tim Smith; three half-brothers, Willard Smith, Elzie Smith, and Herbie Smith; one sister, Aleen Heckler; and by one half-sister, Essie Barnes.

Mr. Evans was affiliated with the Dexter Church of Christ and a resident of Dexter.
Survivors include two brothers, Billy James Evans and Keifer Evans both of Dexter; by three sisters, Theda Nydegger of Stayton, Oregon, Wilma Thomasson of Mount Vernon, Oregon, and Wanda Norman of Pleasant View, Utah.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Essie Vinson and Madge Evans.
