He had lived in Piedmont and Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Morehouse in 1954. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Morehouse. He had worked at Semo Motor Company in the Auto Body Repair dept.
On September 4, 1954, he was married to Jessie Oleta Daniels in Morehouse, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie Oleta Whitley of Morehouse; two sons, Michael D. Whitley of Dexter, Winfred R. Whitley of Morehouse; three daughters, Marlene D. Kinder of Sikeston, Kathy A. Newton of Essex, Sharon L. Goodon of Morehouse; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Alfred, Dessey, Iesey, Melvin and Robert Whitley and two sisters, Lucille Chastain and Alma Simpson.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2011, after 11 a.m., at the Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 2 p.m, at the Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, Missouri with Pastor James Vent of Catron, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

She had lived in Dexter all of her life where she was a member of the First Christian Church. She had worked as the secretary at the First Christian Church for many years. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, the C.W.F. at the church and had been a member of the Dexter Civic and Study Club.
On November 1, 1940, she was married to Gene V. Nichols in Dexter. He preceded her in death on September 29, 1985.
She is survived by two sons, Tom Nichols of Houston, Texas, Joe Nichols of Jonesboro, Arkansas and four grandchildren, David Nichols of Prague in the Czech Republic, Michael Nichols of Austin, Texas, Drew Nichols of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Alana Dowdy of Dexter, Missouri; by eight great-grandchildren; and by one brother, Robert L. "Bob" Travers of Sun City West, Arizona. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Travers and one sister, Ruth B. Pruitt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 11 a.m., at the Watkins & Sons Chapel with Larry Thompson of Dexter officiating.

Mrs. Snider had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and had lived in Bloomfield for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield and a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Malden.
She was married to Loyd Snider in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Loyd Snider of Bloomfield, Missouri; her daughter, Carol Denise Walton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; step-daughter, Shirley Snider Furness of Newberg, Oregon; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; one brother, Dale Miller of Malden, Missouri; three sisters, Marie Hilton of Malden, Missouri, Nola Sonner of Smithville, Tennessee and Marilyn McMillen of Texarkana, Texas. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers.

Brenda Gay Williams, daughter of the late Fred Kenshalo and Betty Houltzhouser Kenshalo was born on July 26, 1961 in Poplar Bluff and died on November 1, 2011 at her residence in Bloomfield at the age of 50.
Mrs. Williams was a resident of Bloomfield.
On October 30, 1981 she was united in marriage to Donald Earl Williams in Dexter. Mr. Williams survives of their home.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Dustin Williams of Perryville, Missouri and Austin Williams of Bloomfield; by one daughter, Shannon Williams of Bloomfield; by three sisters, Betty Fowler of Dexter, Terry Cobb of Dexter and Shelia Brown of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Colton Williams Dalton Darwin, Lilly Darwin and Adelynn Darwin ; by thirteen nieces and nephews, Laura, Apollo, Sam, Faith, Brandon, Kelly, Lydia, Payson, Brandy, Roy, Addisynn, Jerry Lee and Adam.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Kenshalo.

Juanita Lillian Allen, daughter of the late James and Lillian Hudson Mayes, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 1, 1925, and passed away at Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center in Puxico, Missouri on November 2, 2011, at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 1 day.
She had lived in the St. Louis and Wright City, Missouri areas until moving to Puxico, Missouri in 1962. She was a member of the Duck Creek Missionary Baptist Church near Puxico, Missouri which was very important to her.
On December 10, 1945, she was married to Robert Allen in Piggot, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1993.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Allen of Shawnee, Kansas, Robert Allen of Warrenton, Missouri; one daughter, Peggy Dunning of Bridgeton, Missouri; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ileana Mayes and one brother, Cecil Mayes.
