Roger Dale Bolin, son of the late Robert “Gene” Bolin and Jewell Hollis Bolin, was born on September 7, 1954, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on February 5, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Stoddard in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 70 years.

Mr. Bolin was the co-owner of a trucking company and a resident of Dexter. He enjoyed camping and traveling.

On March 23, 1974, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Sherry Leathers. Mrs. Bolin survives of their home in Dexter.

Along with this wife, he is survived by his son, Shane Bolin (Darcie) of Bloomfield, Missouri; by his brother, Eddie Bolin of Dexter, Missouri, and by five grandchildren, Blake Bolin, Natalie Bolin, Seth Bolin, Isla Bolin, and Bennett Bolin.

Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Craig Bolin; and by his mother-in-law, Joyce Leathers.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
