Betty McClintock, daughter of the late Dan Duggins and Francis Gaulden Duggins, was born on August 6, 1935, in Camdenton, Missouri, and departed this life on December 15, 2024, at her residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 89 years.

Mrs. McClintock was a former school teacher for the Bloomfield R14 Public Schools, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of CrossRoads Global Methodist Church for 40 years, a former member of the Stoddard County Unit of the Retired Teachers Association, the Missouri State Teachers Association and the Bloomfield CTA, where she served as president for 2 ½ years. She had also served in the Altrusa organization to promote literacy, as a community representative for Family and Children's Services in Stoddard County and on the Stoddard County Mental Health Board. She was a former member and secretary for the Daughters of the American Revolution, she was active in the Bloomfield's Women Club and Alpha Delta Kappa, and she and her husband, Bruce, were active members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and Midwest Commissioners. She was also a former volunteer for Relay for Life, UCAN, The Center for Family Resources, and Keller Public Library in Dexter. In her younger years, Betty enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, painting and playing Scottish games and she loved watching her grandchildren play in the swimming pool.

On July 25, 1954, in Marshall, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Bruce McClintock. Mr. McClintock survives of their home in Dexter.

Along with her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dan McClintock and wife Mary of Waynesboro, South Carolina, Brian McClintock and wife Shelley of Dexter, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Mark McClintock, Sara Owens, Colton Lobianco, William "Billy" McClintock, and Carson McClintock; and by six great grandchildren, Emily Hester, Eyan McClintock, Paisley Owens, Emery McClintock, Ely McClintock, and Charley Owens.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Duggins.

Visitation will be held at CrossRoads Global Methodist Church in Dexter on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted at CrossRoads Global Methodist Church on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Goldman officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
