Randy W. Witt, son of Carolyn Ann Cathey Witt of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the late Orvel W. Witt, was born on February 7, 1968, in Cairo, Illinois, and departed this life on September 6, 2024, at his residence in Morley, Missouri, at the age of 56 years.
Randy was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy Reserve, serving in Bahrain and retiring with 22 years of service. He had worked for Unilever Good Humor Breyer, The Flower Basket and JC Penney in Sikeston, Missouri and he attended Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Along with his mother Carolyn, he is survived by two sisters, Julie Ann Witt of Sikeston, Missouri, and Donna Kay McClard and husband Gary “Butch” of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by his “other” sister, Donna Jo "DJ" Mofield of Dexter, Missouri; by his niece and nephews, Ann Marie McClard, Austin Witt and wife Micheala, and Garrett McClard; and by many close friends.
Other than by his father Orvel, he was preceded in death by his “other” brother-in-law, Chris Mofield.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will then be held in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe McCollough officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
