Ella Mae Johnson, daughter of the late Monroe Statler and Geneva McAnelly Statler was born on May 5, 1956, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on September 8, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 68.
Ella Mae retired from Unilever in Sikeston, Missouri and was a resident of Dexter. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved being outdoors.
On February 26, 1994, she was united in marriage to Dearl Johnson in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Johnson survives of their home in Dexter.
Other than by her husband she is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Bowers and Steven Douglas Bowers both of Dexter, Missouri, by her step-sons, Dareth Johnson of Malden, Missouri, and Dustin Johnson of Dexter, Missouri; by her brother, Ken Statler of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two sisters, Clara Ellis of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Belinda Jones of Bloomfield, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Kyle Bowers, Brianna Saylors, Zack Bowers, Carter Johnson, and Afton Harris-Hendley; by nine great-grandchildren, Lane and Kinsley Bowers, Emmalin Bowers, Nevaeh, Raylynn, and Emma Jones, and Laira, Noah, and Wren Hendley; and by other extended family and friends.
Other than by her parents she was preceded in death by her half-brother, Donnie Statler; by her half-sister, Linda Stoker; and by her brother in infancy, William Statler.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.

Phyllis Ann Bollinger, daughter of the late Vester Carroll McMunn and Lura Boyd McMunn, was born on September 4, 1938 in Malden, Missouri, and departed this life on September 7, 2024 at Memory Lane Nursing Home in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 86 years.
Phyllis was a homemaker and cared for many children and elderly family members over the years. One of her greatest joys in life was watching her grandchildren play sports, especially basketball and football. She never missed a game and was always the loudest cheerleader in the stands.
She had a special love for animals, particularly cats and dogs, which brought her great joy and companionship. She found comfort in their presence and cherished the bond they shared. Often times, her family joked that she cared for her pets more than her family!
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Bollinger; by her brothers, Larry McMunn and Vester Carroll "Mack" McMunn; by one sister, LaDenna McMunn Wells; by her daughter-in-law, Michelle Bollinger and by her brother-in-law's, Chuck Wells and Bill Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Patterson and husband Ronnie of Bentonville, Arkansas; by her son, Jim Bollinger and wife Leslie of Dexter, Missouri; by one brother, David "Bubby" McMunn and wife Kristie of Malden, Missouri; by two sisters, Judy Blackwood and husband Don of Halls, Tennessee and LaDonna Bennett of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by eight grandchildren, Sarah Dokken, Eric Rinehart, Paige Eggimann, Braden Bollinger, Alexa Noles, Elise Noles, Kassidey Mitchell, Hannah Bollinger; and by eight great-grandchildren, Quinn Dokken, Max Dokken, Tinsley Rinehart, Dru Rinehart, Walt Rinehart, Kaisyn Eggimann, Duke Mitchell, Boden Mitchell; and by her sister-in-law's, Sue McMunn and Carolyn McMunn.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, with a place and time to be announced.

Debra Lee Williams, daughter of the late Bob Goans and Nancy Loyd Goans was born on October 9, 1961, in Cabool, Missouri and departed this life on September 7, 2024, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 62.
Debra was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter and had attended the Bellview Baptist Church in Doniphan, Missouri before moving to Dexter. She enjoyed painting and watching animals outside, her favorite flower was dandelions. She loved being with her family, and her dog Sara. She always had a puzzle she was working on and had written Christian story’s some of which have been published.
On August 8, 1980, she was united in marriage to William Williams in Mountain View, Missouri. Mr. Williams survives of their home in Dexter.
Other than by her husband she is survived by her daughter, Monica Moore and husband Caleb of Fairdealing, Missouri; by two sons, Jeremie Williams and Bobbie Williams both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two brothers, Hershel Goans of Doniphan, Missouri, and Andy Goans of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and by three grandchildren, William Moore, Kalista Jackson and husband Tyler, and Ethan Williams.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Lonnie Mittag officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Anthony “Tony” Lee Walker, son of the late Vernia Lee Walker and Mary Josephine Harmon Walker, was born in San Franciso, California on July 15, 1944 and departed this life at Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri on September 7, 2024 at the age of 80.
Mr. Walker had served in the United States Army. He had been a police officer in Bernie, in his younger years, and had farmed. He later worked in Residential Construction. He was a resident of Bernie.
Survivors include five brothers, Carlon Joe Walker & wife Joyce of Bernie, Phillip Don Walker & wife Diane of Dexter, Dell Leon Walker & wife Kathy, of Dexter, Thomas Wayne Walker & wife Carol of Bernie and Roger Stanley Walker of Bernie; by one sister, Carol Diane Clark & husband Ronald of Bernie. Also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death, other than by his parents, by three brothers, Harold Eugene Walker, Melvin Ray Walker and Lindell Keith Walker; by two sisters, Marcena Elaine Walker and
Alicia Fay Walker.

Earlene Barnett, daughter of the late Denver Brown and Peggy Samples Brown, was born on August 3, 1957, in Kennett, Missouri, and departed this life on September 6, 2024, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 67 years.
Mrs. Barnett was a former secretary and office manager. She enjoyed playing bingo and bowling and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
On January 28, 1995, in Essex, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Tommy Barnett. Mr. Barnett preceded her in death on March 27, 2018.
She is survived by two sons, Jeremy Hunt and wife Dawn of Sikeston, Missouri, and Tony Barnett of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two daughters, Jennifer Shanefelter (Gary Freeman) of Sikeston, Missouri, and Tracy DeBose of Chicago, Illinois; by her brother, Johnny Brown and wife Regina of Dexter, Missouri; by her sister, Sherry Newell and husband Tim of Sikeston, Missouri; and by five grandchildren, Kaelyn Hunt, Grace DeBose, Ruby DeBose, Ryan Hunt, and Jaxen Hunt.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Brown in infancy; and by her son-in-law, Marc DeBose.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Stanley Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Dexter Cemetery.
