
Debra Lee Williams, daughter of the late Bob Goans and Nancy Loyd Goans was born on October 9, 1961, in Cabool, Missouri and departed this life on September 7, 2024, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 62.
Debra was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter and had attended the Bellview Baptist Church in Doniphan, Missouri before moving to Dexter. She enjoyed painting and watching animals outside, her favorite flower was dandelions. She loved being with her family, and her dog Sara. She always had a puzzle she was working on and had written Christian story’s some of which have been published.
On August 8, 1980, she was united in marriage to William Williams in Mountain View, Missouri. Mr. Williams survives of their home in Dexter.
Other than by her husband she is survived by her daughter, Monica Moore and husband Caleb of Fairdealing, Missouri; by two sons, Jeremie Williams and Bobbie Williams both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two brothers, Hershel Goans of Doniphan, Missouri, and Andy Goans of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and by three grandchildren, William Moore, Kalista Jackson and husband Tyler, and Ethan Williams.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Lonnie Mittag officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
