
Glenda Neuhaus, daughter of the late Charles Ashby and Helen McNece Ashby, was born on September 10, 1930, in Powe, Missouri, and departed this life on August 23, 2024, at her residence in Salem, Oregon, at the age of 93 years.
Mrs. Neuhaus was a former nursing assistant for various Veteran Hospitals. She was a member of Trace Ridge Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She enjoyed playing bingo and woodworking. Glenda was proud to say her 4th great grandfather was George Ross, who was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
She is survived by three sons, Jerrel Neuhaus (Angela) of Bernie, Missouri, Danny Neuhaus (Sandy) of Bernie, Missouri, and Gary Neuhaus (Tammy) of Brandon, Mississippi; by two daughters, Shirley Potter of Dexter, Missouri, and Carol Miller (Ed) of Salem, Oregon; and by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
