Bobby C. Alexander, son of the late W. C. Alexander and Lorine Rosson Alexander, was born on March 14, 1939, in Piggott, Arkansas, and departed this life on April 3, 2024, at Prairie View Skilled Nursing in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.
Mr. Alexander was a former electrical engineer for McDonald Aircraft in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge and a resident of Dexter. He enjoyed coin collecting and gardening, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren and especially his great-grandchildren.
On August 1, 1957, in Grayridge, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Virgie Scowden. Mrs. Alexander preceded him in death on January 9, 2017.
He is survived by three sons, Bob C. Alexander Jr. and wife Kathy of Portland, Oregon, Gregory Alan Alexander of Dexter, Missouri and Kerry Alexander of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister, Pat Alexander Rapp of St. Charles, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Jessie Alexander and Bobby Alexander III; and by three great-grandchildren, Alexiyah Rivera, Cymberlyn Rivera, and Izabella Alexander.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Alexander, Fred Alexander, and Donald Alexander.
