Harold Dean Pullum, son of the late John Harold Pullum and Ellen Purcel Pullum, was born on July 19, 1944, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on February 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Pullum was a former employee of Bob Woods Trash Service, had worked for Jacee Bennett, and was a resident of Dexter, Missouri. He was of the Christian Faith.
On November 21, 1969, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Starnes. Mrs. Pullum survives of their home in Dexter.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his brother, David Pullum of Dexter, Missouri; by three sisters, Joyce Dowdy of Sikeston, Missouri, Judy Stanfield of St. Louis, Missouri, and Alice Moore of Dexter, Missouri, and by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Pullum, and Jerry Pullum.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Gilbert and Rev. Bobby Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
