
Donald Gale Rothlisberger, son of the late Albert Rothlisberger and Peachie Tilley Rothlisberger, was born on April 9, 1945, in Iron Mountain, Missouri, and departed this life on February 21, 2024, at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.
Mr. Rothlisberger retired from Noranda Aluminum, where he worked as a maintenance mechanic. He attended the First Assembly of God Church. He loved hunting, fishing, and family gatherings.
On November 25, 1988, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Gail Shipman. Mrs. Rothlisberger survives of their home in Dexter.
Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons, Ronnie Rothlisberger of Ironton, Missouri, Michael Jarrell of Bloomfield, Missouri, Jeff Jarrell of Dexter, Missouri; by two daughters, Rhonda Aubuchon of Ironton, Missouri, and Ashley Phelps of North Carolina; by his sister, Patricia Froeschner of Florissant, Missouri; and by eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leorin Lesh, and Bobby Rothlisberger; and by his sister, Betty McClary.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at a later date.
